Systems & Applications Support Specialist

Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving company applications, systems, and IT infrastructure. The Systems & Applications Support Specialist works closely with management and end-users to ensure all systems remain secure, reliable, and fully aligned with business objectives. Day-to-day activities include system configuration, software deployments, performance monitoring, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and providing comprehensive user support. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted technical expert, balancing reactive support with proactive system improvements and strategic infrastructure enhancements.Key Responsibilities:Act as subject matter expert for systems, applications, and cybersecurity mattersSupport and improve business applications and IT systems to enhance operational efficiencyGather business requirements and support system implementation and upgradesManage system changes, upgrades, and software deployments with minimal disruptionMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain uptime and reliabilityProvide user training and technical support to ensure effective system adoptionEnsure software licensing compliance across all deployed applicationsMaintain backup, disaster recovery, and security procedures to protect company dataCoordinate with vendors and external service providers to resolve technical challengesProvide general IT support and maintenance across the organizationCandidate ProfileWe are looking for candidates with a strong technical foundation in IT systems and software support who combine deep expertise with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of hands-on experience in software development and/or systems support, holds a relevant bachelor's degree, and demonstrates proficiency with enterprise platforms such as Odoo, Oracle ERP, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint. Beyond technical credentials, we seek someone who is naturally organized, detail-oriented, and thrives when managing multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure. This person should be fluent in both English and Arabic, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.Experience & Expertise Required:Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development and/or systems supportBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldHands-on experience with Odoo, Oracle ERP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and project management toolsStrong troubleshooting and systems support capabilities across diverse technical environmentsExperience in telecom or infrastructure-related industries is highly preferredFluency in both English and Arabic for cross-functional communicationQualities & Work Approach:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issuesExcellent communication and user support skills that foster positive stakeholder relationshipsOrganized and detail-oriented approach to managing systems, documentation, and complianceAbility to work effectively under pressure while maintaining quality and managing multiple concurrent projectsRole Impact & Success:This position is critical to ensuring that company IT infrastructure remains secure, performant, and aligned with evolving business needs.
