Senior Direct Tax Advisor
Our client, a well-known FinTech, is seeking for a Senior Direct Tax Advisor for their team in Brussels. This role combines expertise in International and Belgian Direct Tax with a focus on leveraging technology to improve tax processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert direct tax advice and ensure compliance with regulations
- Lead tax initiatives and drive innovation using technology
- Manage end-to-end direct tax compliance and tax closing projects
- Support internal business units with tax documentation and queries
- Collaborate across teams and offer backup support in various tax domains
Profile & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Law or Economics, with additional tax qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in corporate income tax
- Fluent in English; French/Dutch is a plus
- Tech-savvy with experience in digital transformation projects within tax
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with AI and RPA
- Team player with a proactive attitude and a detail-oriented approach
