Our client, a well-known FinTech, is seeking for a Senior Direct Tax Advisor for their team in Brussels. This role combines expertise in International and Belgian Direct Tax with a focus on leveraging technology to improve tax processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert direct tax advice and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Lead tax initiatives and drive innovation using technology
  • Manage end-to-end direct tax compliance and tax closing projects
  • Support internal business units with tax documentation and queries
  • Collaborate across teams and offer backup support in various tax domains
Description du profil

Profile & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Law or Economics, with additional tax qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate income tax
  • Fluent in English; French/Dutch is a plus
  • Tech-savvy with experience in digital transformation projects within tax


Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with AI and RPA
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and a detail-oriented approach

Job DescriptionOne of my partners is seeking an enthusiastic Legal Advisor to join and strengthen their Legal team. In this varied and stimulating role, you will work at the intersection of commercial real estate law and general commercial law, supporting Belgium's dynamic retail and services sector through a period of significant transformation. You will monitor and analyse Belgian and European legislation, translate complex legal developments into clear, actionable insights, and help member companies—ranging from online platforms to large retail chains—understand and apply new and existing rules. Your work will span commercial leases, permits, energy policies (including solar panels and charging station regulations), B2C e-commerce legislation, and digital commerce. You will draft sector positions, defend them with stakeholders at regional, federal, and European levels, and organize knowledge-sharing activities such as seminars, working groups, and meetings. Family Law Lawyer
