Job description

Our client is an international pharmaceutical group having over 70 years of expertise on innovative products.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Graduate (UAE National) to support various finance functions, ensuring accurate processing, compliance, and efficient coordination across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable & Payable Support
    • Follow up with customers for payments and coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team.
    • Support Accounts Payable activities, including invoice tracking, fixed cost payments, intercompany charges, and marketing expenses.
    • Match invoices with POs and supporting documents; ensure timely processing and payment of invoices.
  • Finance Operations & Reporting
    • Coordinate with the other business units for smooth finance operations.
    • Support month-end closing, cash management, accruals, and provisions.
    • Assist in preparing financial statements and coordinating audits.
  • Compliance & Continuous Improvement
    • Ensure timely fulfillment of regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
    • Contribute to the improvement of financial reporting processes.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks
    • Participate in extra special assignments and projects as directed by management.
Profile description

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax or other related fields
  • Any work experience (internship, employment) in finance / accounting would be considered as an advantage
  • Successful applicants should be UAE Nationals with a family book
  • Solid interest in finance, audit, tax, and internal control topics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive insights
  • Effective planning and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and contribute to several projects simultaneously
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools

Trilingual General Ledger Accountant

Main Responsibilities:Oversee end-to-end accounting processes from daily bookkeeping to monthly and yearly closings, focusing on the General Ledger (GL).Manage cost accounting and fund accounting tasks related to pension funds in collaboration with two team members specialized in these areas.Participate in regular team meetings, frequently held in Dutch, and work with documentation often provided in Dutch. Full bilingualism is not required, but strong comprehension of Dutch is important.Contribute to a mid-sized team (8 people) where French and Dutch are the primary working languages.Deliver prompt and accurate support on financial closings without the need for extensive onboarding or training, leveraging prior experience in a fiduciary environment or similar accounting roles.Coordinate with colleagues, share knowledge, and support collective goals in a flexible, people-oriented PME atmosphere.Work primarily between 9:00 and 17:00, benefiting from partial remote work (up to three days per week), with easy access by public transport (no parking provided).Remuneration and Benefits:Salary dependent on experience, with a maximum of €4,500 gross monthly and meal vouchers of €8/day.Additional fixed expenses allowance, group and hospitalisation insurance, pension fund contributions, reimbursement of public transport at 100%.25 holiday days plus the possibility of 10 extra days and a 13th month.The role supports growth and development within a human-scale, collaborative environment, where familiarity with both French and Dutch is highly valued to engage with team discussions and documentation.
