Accounts Payable Team Lead
As the Accounts Payable Team Lead, you hold a central role in the financial administration. Your primary responsibility is the coordination and organization of all activities within the accounts payable department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and monitoring key performance indicators.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and coach the accounts payable team, aligning individual and departmental priorities with organizational objectives. Guide the team through system changes and process updates, ensuring everyone is well-supported throughout transitions.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current processes, design and implement new procedures, and promote efficiency across the department. Ensure all procedures are followed and measured for effectiveness.
- Audit Management: Oversee audit preparations, control and analyze audit reports, communicate audit outcomes, and implement necessary corrective actions to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Stakeholder Management: Represent the department to internal and external clients and suppliers. Respond to inquiries and address the needs and challenges of key contacts in a professional manner.
Scope of the Position: Involvement spans from junior-level accounts payable activities to supporting general accounting processes, placing focus on data analysis, performance monitoring, audit planning, and presenting department results. Proficiency in both French and Dutch is fundamental for day-to-day operations and collaboration across teams.
