Management Accountant
Join a fast-paced and collaborative finance team part of an EPC group based in Abu Dhabi.
As a Management Accountant, you'll work closely with business units to drive financial performance, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making.
Reporting to: Head of Commercial Finance
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to lead financial planning and analysis for a growing business unit. You'll serve as a trusted partner to operations, preparing monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and delivering gross margin insights that influence business strategy.
This is a high-impact role offering exposure to cross-functional teams, project accounting, and financial transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with operational teams to deliver accurate and timely management accounts
- Provide detailed gross margin and KPI analysis with variance insights
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc financial models
- Lead cashflow forecasting and collection reviews
- Support ICV (In-Country Value) reporting and improvement plans
- Oversee financial controls, reconciliations, and compliance with IFRS and local standards
- Review journals, sales invoices, and support audits and inventory counts
- Contribute to system improvements and process enhancements
- Chartered accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CMA, ICAEW)
- At least 5 years of management accounting experience, with a prior successful experience as a business partner
- Knowledge of Project Accounting and costing
- A manufacturing or EPC experience is required
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Microsoft D365 is a plus
- Abu Dhabi relocation is required (or being already based in Abu Dhabi)
