SAP PM Consultant
Job Purpose:
Provide solutions and innovations towards implementing the SAP PM module as per best practices, focusing on systems configuration to equip users with cutting-edge technology that supports their goals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Assist the IT planning team during project evaluation phases and support the project manager in developing and implementing project plans, including defining scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
- Gather business requirements and explore best practices through process design workshops. Collaborate closely with the IT planning team to review projects and ensure alignment with business objectives and needs.
- Execute assigned project tasks in areas of demonstrated expertise, maintaining communication with stakeholders, working with task groups, performing required configurations, and supporting business users during testing cycles.
- Implement project activities using SAP Activate Methodology to meet the requirements for the assigned area.
- Provide ongoing support to business users through incident and problem management, change management, knowledge transfer, and documentation.
- Develop core skills, cross-functional expertise, and business knowledge continually, applying insights gained from each project to enhance future performance.
- Liaise with SAP organizations as needed to address specific business needs promptly and effectively.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality results and maintain business satisfaction.
- Train user department staff in SAP functionality to enable independent utilization without ongoing reliance on SAP technical experts.
- Contribute to improvements in departmental procedures and implement necessary controls to meet relevant procedural and legislative requirements while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures within defined SAP activities, guaranteeing employee safety, legislative compliance, and responsible environmental practices.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or Management.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- 4 years of SAP-related experience, ideally within a large industrial or utilities organization.
- 2 years of SAP PM experience.
- Strong experience in defining business processes, creating functional specifications, and training users in system operation.
Professional Certification(s):
- SAP functional certification/accreditation in the relevant SAP module.
