Part-Time SAP Cloud IAG Technical-Functional Expert
As a part-time SAP Cloud IAG Technical-Functional Expert, you join the ERP Access Management team to support the implementation and integration of SAP Cloud IAG as a key solution for provisioning and Segregation of Duties (SoD) management. You collaborate closely with internal clients and project members during the design, go-live, and hypercare phases.
- Provide technical-functional guidance for setting up the Access Analysis Service, including the SoD framework and replacement of SAP GRC Access Control for legacy systems, as well as SAP Ariba integration.
- Implement Privileged Access Management (PAM) for on-premise SAP environments, and extend coverage to the new S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition.
- Lead migration of business roles from SAP Identity Management and in-house access request tools into SAP Cloud IAG, ensuring workflow setup, necessary approvals, and automation via analysis of HR triggers.
- Roll out Access Certification Service by developing frameworks and workflows for access certification and attestation throughout SAP cloud and on-premise systems.
- Analyze integration requirements for connecting SAP Cloud IAG with a third-party Identity Governance solution.
- Document and configure enhancements, solutions for bugs, and required changes during the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including teams from Finance and Internal Audit—to collect, analyze, and challenge improvement requests.
- Apply and share best practices for access management, proactively identifying improvements as the SAP landscape evolves during S/4HANA implementation.
Expected working languages are English, with additional communication in French and Dutch as needed.
We are looking for candidates who bring a strong blend of technical and functional expertise in SAP Cloud solutions, with a proven track record of supporting complex access management environments. The ideal person thrives in roles that demand both analytical depth and clear communication, and is naturally proactive in suggesting and applying best practices to optimize solutions as requirements evolve.
- Analytical and Solution-Oriented: Possesses the ability to dissect complex system architectures and requirements, particularly in the domains of security, integration, and governance.
- Collaborative and Client-Focused: Comfortable working closely with internal business stakeholders, capturing their needs effectively, and translating them into solutions that genuinely enhance organizational processes.
- Adaptive and Methodical: Demonstrates adaptability during parallel project streams (such as simultaneous S/4HANA and SAP Cloud IAG deployments), with meticulous attention to documentation and configuration of evolving solutions.
- Proactive and Improvement-Minded: Enjoys taking initiative to identify improvements, ensuring access management processes are robust, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Experienced in SAP Ecosystem: Brings a comprehensive understanding of SAP Cloud IAG, SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, SAP Identity Management, and related authorization concepts, ideally from previous implementation or migration projects.
- Strong Communicator: Communicates fluently in English (spoken and written); additional proficiency in French and Dutch is a significant asset, enabling effective interaction across multicultural teams.
- Quality and Risk Conscious: Maintains a high standard in documenting solutions and following through on bug fixes and change requests, with a keen eye for managing risks involved in access and provisioning initiatives.
We value individuals who are keen to expand their knowledge, stay updated on cloud security trends, and demonstrate both the independence to drive initiatives and the team spirit to collaborate with various stakeholders.
