Application engineer
We are actively looking for an Application engineer to join one of our partner in the Financial serviced industry located in Brussels (near a station). The company has built up a company culture around results, trust, entrepreneurship, innovation and collaboration.
Your responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the company's system and applications: installation & documentation, patching, upgrading, monitoring, performance, security, maintenance, availability (up-time), incident management, etc.
- You will ensure that the systems are running smoothly and also responsible for batch processing
- You will first work on an operational basis and also be deployed within projects
- You will ensure the interface and the monitor of internal batch processes
- You will ensuring the availability of applications and providing follow-up/resolution if there are some incident management
- You will also design and maintaining processes and data/documentation flows
Your profile:
- Minimum 2 year experience
- You have an experience of Windows servers, ISS and webservers
- You have a good knowledge of SQL server (infrastructure and security) and T-SQL
- You already have experience in ITIL (incident and change management)
- You have relevant basic technical knowledge of IT and looking to expand your skills
- You are problem solver
- You work independently and fit in well with a team
