Job description

We are actively looking for an Application engineer to join one of our partner in the Financial serviced industry located in Brussels (near a station). The company has built up a company culture around results, trust, entrepreneurship, innovation and collaboration.


Your responsibilities:


  • You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the company's system and applications: installation & documentation, patching, upgrading, monitoring, performance, security, maintenance, availability (up-time), incident management, etc.
  • You will ensure that the systems are running smoothly and also responsible for batch processing
  • You will first work on an operational basis and also be deployed within projects
  • You will ensure the interface and the monitor of internal batch processes
  • You will ensuring the availability of applications and providing follow-up/resolution if there are some incident management
  • You will also design and maintaining processes and data/documentation flows



Profile description

Your profile:


  • Minimum 2 year experience
  • You have an experience of Windows servers, ISS and webservers
  • You have a good knowledge of SQL server (infrastructure and security) and T-SQL
  • You already have experience in ITIL (incident and change management)
  • You have relevant basic technical knowledge of IT and looking to expand your skills
  • You are problem solver
  • You work independently and fit in well with a team

Assistant Project Manager – High & Medium Voltage Projects

Role Overview:The Assistant Project Manager supports the execution of energy transition projects throughout Belgium, working directly with the Project Manager. The position focuses on the development, renovation, and construction of high-voltage substations (15kV–380kV), battery storage, solar energy, EV infrastructure, and data center projects for both grid operators and industrial clients.Main Duties & Scope:Assist the Project Manager in steering projects ranging from €500K to €10M in value through all stages, from initial preparation to final delivery.Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to align workflows and ensure timely delivery of project components.Contribute to the drafting of work methods and technical documents, prepare orders, and support in developing on-site technical solutions.Participate in planning meetings and assist with effective resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.Support project financials, including progress reporting, invoicing, and billing activities.Collaborate closely with engineering teams for the realization of optimal technical designs, especially concerning high voltage power systems.Work alongside site supervisors and technicians to foster teamwork and smooth project progression.Tools & Communication:Extensive use of Office 365 for project documentation and coordination.Engage in technical and organizational communication in Dutch (fluent), with regular interaction in French and English (working proficiency).Apply knowledge of project management, construction management, and technical documentation, with familiarity in power systems and contract management seen as advantageous.
