Job description

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take full ownership of the accounting activities for four companies. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end-to-end accounting in compliance with Belgian regulations;
  • Leading and supporting a dedicated accounting team;
  • Monitoring, reconciling, and analyzing balance sheet accounts;
  • Cash management and related reporting;
  • Preparing monthly closings in accordance with group standards;
  • Providing quarterly reports to the international group;
  • Performing the year-end closing and preparing the annual accounts;
  • Preparing and reviewing VAT and corporate tax returns;
  • Liaising with external auditors and preparing audit documentation;
  • Producing various financial reports for management purposes.
Profile description
  • Degree in Accounting, Business Economics, or Commercial Sciences;
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting position;
  • Strong command of Belgian accounting principles and tax legislation;
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently;
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact across all levels of the organization;
  • You work on-site from Evere;
  • You are bilingual in Dutch and French, with a good command of English.

Position Overview:As Team Lead Accounting & Administration in Insurance sector, you oversee and optimize the accounting and administrative operations associated with both Life and Non-Life reinsurance activities.
