A sectoral organization is seeking a Legal Advisor specialized in Social Law to strengthen its legal team.
The legal team is responsible for social affairs within the sector, representing member companies in various joint committees and supporting them in their social relations.
About the Role
As a Social Affairs Advisor, you will:
- Represent member companies in joint committees related to commerce and services.
- Provide legal advice in social law and assist members in managing labor relations.
- Keep members up to date on legal developments and offer tailored guidance.
- Contribute to the execution of the team’s annual action plan (including webinars, information services, website content, etc.).
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the commerce sector while working collaboratively within a team.
- Handle matters related to labor law, collective labor agreements (CLAs), industrial relations, and social policy.
- Maintain close external contacts with HR professionals in the sector.
Profile
- Master's degree in Law, ideally with an additional degree in Social Law.
- At least 5 years of experience as a legal advisor, preferably in a law firm, company, or social secretariat.
- Solid understanding of labor law and social legislation.
- Fluent in both Dutch and French.
- A collaborative and proactive mindset, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic about handling diverse legal matters and committed to delivering high-quality service to clients.
