Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing for our luxurious hotel located in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in marketing within the luxury hospitality sector, with a proven track record of successful branding and promotion strategies. The Director of Marketing will lead the marketing team to enhance the hotel's brand image, drive revenue, and maintain exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the hotel's brand image and increase market share within the luxury hospitality sector.
  2. Utilize extensive experience with luxury brands, to strategically position the hotel within the luxury market segment.
  3. Collaborate with luxury retail partners to create mutually beneficial partnerships and enhance the guest experience.
  4. Utilize headhunting skills to recruit top talent for the marketing team and coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  5. Oversee marketing operations abroad, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging across international markets.
  6. Develop and implement innovative marketing and PR strategies tailored to luxury markets, with a focus on enhancing the hotel's reputation and attracting high-net-worth clientele.
  7. Utilize clustering strategies to identify and target specific market segments effectively.
  8. Lead a team providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  9. Cultivate and maintain relationships with luxury PR agencies to maximize exposure and media coverage for the hotel.
Profile description
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leading marketing role within the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Extensive experience working with luxury brands, luxury retail partnerships.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing and PR strategies targeting luxury markets.
  • Familiarity with clustering strategies and their application in the hospitality industry.
  • Previous experience working at prestigious hotels mentioned above is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
