Senior Digital Transformation Project Manager
Role Overview: As a key member of our 16-person team—including transformation leads, business analysts, change/lean leads, a BPM expert, a strategy manager, and a transformation analyst—you will manage critical projects across our digital transformation journey. Your primary responsibility is to drive digital initiatives focused on new technologies and enhanced customer journeys.
- Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle to ensure on-time, in-scope, and within-budget delivery in alignment with established requirements.
- Scope & Requirements Engineering: Work closely with business analysts to define and engineer detailed requirements and ensure clear project scoping.
- Business Case Development: Create and validate business cases, performing in-depth problem-solving and risk management to support successful delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present progress and KPIs to the steering committee, engaging sponsors and stakeholders across organizational levels from operations to C-suite and throughout the Group.
- Collaboration & Team Leadership: Foster an efficient and collaborative environment among project contributors, ensuring all activities and tasks for stakeholders are clearly planned and monitored.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously track and report project progress and performance KPIs internally and externally.
- Transformation Expertise: Contribute to the development and refinement of best practices within the center of excellence for transformation management by sharing knowledge and helping shape our functional domains.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Business, Management, IT, or related field, with extensive program/project management experience and a proven history of delivering transformation projects successfully.
- Applied experience in project management methodologies, business case creation, risk management, and structured, result-oriented execution.
- Strong command of Agile methodologies, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, able to interface at all organizational levels, including international contexts and C-level.
- Fluency in English (mandatory) and high proficiency in French and Dutch (preferred).

- Academic and professional background: Holds a Master’s degree in Business, Management, IT, or a related field, with substantial experience (5+ years) managing projects or programs, ideally with a track record of successful digital and transformation initiatives.
- Structured and result-oriented: Approaches project delivery with precision, using structured methodologies to deliver results on time, within scope, and on budget, while actively managing risks and requirements.
- Methodological expertise: Demonstrates strong knowledge of project management standards (including agile methodologies), requirements gathering, business casing, and risk management within a business and technology context—preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Collaborative communicator: Excels at presenting and communicating complex ideas clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, to colleagues at all levels including C-level executives, sponsors, and international stakeholders.
- Stakeholder engagement: Is adept at building trust, fostering collaboration, and ensuring buy-in by engaging stakeholders effectively in project delivery and steering committees.
- Change champion: Brings a proactive attitude, with the ability to coach and inspire teams and stakeholders through transformation journeys, and the curiosity to embrace new technologies and evolving customer needs.
- Multilingual capability: Fluent in English with strong working proficiency in both French and Dutch, enabling effective collaboration and influence in an international context.
- Continuous learner and knowledge sharer: Committed to personal growth and the development of best practices, actively contributing to the transformation management community and the enhancement of the center of excellence.
