Quality Specialist – Abu Dhabi
Overview
This role works closely with the Quality Systems Manager to ensure compliance across policies, procedures, and standards. It involves analyzing quality-related data, supporting audit planning, and contributing to the effectiveness of the overall quality management system across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support internal and external audit activities by assisting with planning, scheduling, documentation, and reporting. Analyze audit findings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and update documentation related to key business processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with quality standards.
- Contribute to business reviews by preparing data analysis (including customer satisfaction insights) and tracking follow-up actions.
- Gather and process quality-related metrics such as performance scorecards, non-conformance data, and other system inputs.
- Ensure the quality management system documentation is properly maintained, including procedures and process interactions.
- Monitor document workflows, identify gaps or delays (e.g. overdue approvals or reviews), and follow up with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external auditors or certification bodies by providing required information in line with deadlines and standards.
- Deliver or support training initiatives related to quality systems, including user onboarding, internal auditing, and problem-solving methodologies.
Profile & Competencies
- Strong customer orientation with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
- Comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders and communicating clearly at different levels of the organization.
- Solid understanding and practical use of quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, process audits, inspections, and capability analysis.
- Ability to manage timelines and coordinate tasks to ensure deliverables are met within agreed schedules.
- Resilient mindset with the ability to navigate challenges and maintain performance under pressure.
- Accountability-driven approach, taking ownership of responsibilities and outcomes.
- Skilled in translating data into insights through reporting and visualization tools, enabling clear decision-making.
- Strong communication skills, able to adapt messaging depending on the audience.
- Open-minded and respectful of different perspectives, contributing to an inclusive work environment.
- Exposure to or understanding of Quality 4.0 concepts, including digital quality systems, cloud-based platforms, and technologies such as simulation, digital twins, and connected ecosystems.
