Junior Tax Associate
About Them
Our client is a leading Belgian law firm specializing in employment and labor law. As part of the international network, they serve both local and international clients. They are expanding their tax practice and are looking for a Junior Tax Associate to join their Brussels office. You’ll work alongside top professionals in a dynamic, people-focused environment.
Your Role
As a Junior Tax Associate, you will:
- Advise clients on personal income tax matters, with a focus on employment-related tax issues (e.g., salary structures, compensation planning, cross-border employment, expatriate taxation).
- Assist in the design and implementation of tax-efficient remuneration structures.
- Draft legal advice and documentation related to tax law and social security.
- Support clients in dealings with Belgian and international tax authorities.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving tax regulations and jurisprudence.
Who You Are
- A Master of Law degree, preferably with a specialization in tax law or additional tax education (e.g., a specialized LL.M. or post-graduate degree).
- Between 0 and 8 years of relevant legal experience – young graduates are welcome; experience in tax law is a strong asset.
- Native Dutch speaker, with excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
- A motivated and analytical thinker with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
- Eager to work in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
