Beschrijving van de Functie

Als Finance Manager ben je een cruciaal onderdeel van de financiële afdeling van een groot internationaal logistiek bedrijf. Je werkt nauw samen met de financiële gemeenschap in België en het Europese financiële team om de financiële integriteit van de organisatie te waarborgen. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het beheer van kritieke boekhoudkundige processen, het toezicht op balansrekeningen en de nauwkeurigheid van financiële rapportage volgens zowel lokale GAAP- als IFRS-principes. Je rol combineert strategische financiële planning met operationeel management en vereist een sterke focus op cashflowbeheer en risicominimalisatie.

Belangrijkste Verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Zorgen voor de juistheid van de balans door het beheer van boekhoudkundige processen van het grootboek en toezicht op alle balansrekeningen (te betalen, te ontvangen, IC, rechten, belastingen, enz.)
  • Verantwoordelijkheid voor maandelijkse, driemaandelijkse en jaarlijkse financiële activiteiten, IFRS-rapportage en financiële audits
  • Beheer van corporate governance-controles om financiële en bedrijfsrisico's te beperken
  • Toezicht op en verbetering van interne afstemmingen tussen alle rekeningen, financiële procedures en rapportagenauwkeurigheid
  • Leiding geven aan de lokale RtR-medewerker in België en nauwe samenwerking met het offshore financiële serviceteam in India
  • Leiding geven aan een team van +-15 financiële werknemers
  • Proactieve identificatie van kansen op het gebied van debiteurenbeheer om de prestatiedoelstellingen van de groep te waarborgen
  • Bereiken van cashflowdoelstellingen als een van de belangrijkste prioriteiten
  • Uitvoering van ad-hoc financiële projecten (systemen, regelgeving, interne werkgroepen)
  • Nauwe samenwerking met de financiële gemeenschap in België en het Europese financiële team

Profiel van de Kandidaat

We zoeken een ervaren Finance Manager met een sterke achtergrond in financieel management, boekhoudkunde en teamleiding. Je bent een analytische denker met uitstekende organisatorische vaardigheden en een bewezen vermogen om complexe financiële processen te beheren. Je hebt ervaring met IFRS-rapportage, corporate governance en kredietbeheer. Je bent in staat om effectief te communiceren met diverse stakeholders op lokaal en internationaal niveau, inclusief offshore teams. Je bent proactief, resultaatgericht en beschikt over sterke leiderschapsvaardigheden om een team van credit controllers succesvol te leiden.

Vereiste Ervaring & Expertise:

  • Minimaal 5-7 jaar ervaring in financieel management of boekhoudkunde, bij voorkeur in een internationale omgeving
  • Grondige kennis van IFRS en lokale GAAP-principes
  • Ervaring met corporate governance, interne controles en risicobeheer
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in teamleiding en personeelsbeheer
  • Sterke kennis van kredietbeheer en debiteurenbeheer
  • Ervaring met financiële rapportage en audits
  • Vaardigheid in het werken met financiële systemen en ERP-software
  • Uitstekende communicatie- en interpersoonlijke vaardigheden
