As a General Accountant, you will work closely with our large, dynamic team of driven Finance professionals who strive for high-quality results. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the accurate and complete management of our general accounting and the related reporting.

Responsibilities:

• For the Belgian entity, you are responsible for posting bank transactions, payroll and provisions.
• Together with other colleagues, you process purchase invoices.
• Preparing the annual accounts and corporate income tax return for the Belgian entity is also part of your responsibilities.
• You handle other tax filings.
• You provide the necessary support during audits.
• You are also responsible for following up on customer receivables.
• You actively participate in the monthly closing process.
• You are responsible for the monthly reporting within the agreed deadlines.
• You manage the fixed assets administration.
• You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
• You report to the Accounting Team Lead and work closely with colleagues across the team.

Profile

We are looking for…

• You hold a Master’s degree in an economic/financial field with a passion for Finance, or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of tax and VAT; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills are a must.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
