De job: Software Tester

Als Software Tester speel je een cruciale rol in het waarborgen van kwaliteit en het valideren van user stories. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en uitvoeren van tests en werkt nauw samen met analisten en developers in een agile werkomgeving. Jouw doel is om de kwaliteit van softwareproducten te verhogen en klanttevredenheid te garanderen door middel van innovatieve en efficiënte testprocessen.


Jouw takenpakket:

  • Het uitvoeren van softwaretests, waarbij je start met exploratory testing.
  • Opstellen en leveren van testdesigns die de basis vormen voor automatisatie.
  • Maken en onderhouden van geautomatiseerde tests.
  • Analyseren van testresultaten, opvolgen van issues en uitvoeren van root-cause analyses.
  • Inschatten van taken, bepalen van prioriteiten en ondersteunen van het team bij automatisering.
  • Directe samenwerking met klanten voor ondersteuning en demo’s.

Profile description

Jouw profiel

We zoeken iemand die analytisch is ingesteld, leergierig is en graag samenwerkt. Interesse in automatisatie is een pluspunt, net zoals ervaring met onderstaande vaardigheden:

  • Ervaring met exploratory testing en functional (black box) testing.
  • Kennis van gangbare testmethodologieën en technieken, zoals BVA, EP, pairwise of cause-effect.
  • Ervaring met testen van applicaties via REST/SOAP API endpoints en front-ends.
  • Basiskennis van SQL.
  • Een ISTQB-certificaat is een plus, maar geen vereiste.

Daarnaast ben je kritisch en durf je vragen te stellen om onduidelijkheden in user stories te verduidelijken. Je hebt een passie voor technologie en een drive om jezelf continu te blijven ontwikkelen.
