Senior Accountant
Gentis is a Belgian recruitment company headquartered in Brussels and providing permanent staffing as well as project sourcing solutions worldwide in multiple sectors.
For one of my client, I am currently looking for a Senior Accountant in Brussels.
Job description:
- Maintain accurate company financial records and ensure their integrity;
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements;
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify account statements;
- Handle tax filings and regulatory compliance requirements;
- Contribute to the development of budgets and financial forecasts;
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits;
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes to enhance efficiency.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- +5 years of relevant professional experience in accounting;
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, etc.);
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations;
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- French & English (Dutch is a plus).
