Junior Legal Counsel supports the Legal & Compliance team in ensuring all operations are aligned with UAE legal and regulatory standards. This entry-level legal position is suited for Emirati graduates with a background in law, particularly those seeking experience in the insurance sector.

  • Drafting, reviewing, and supporting negotiations for contracts, insurance agreements, and formal correspondence.
  • Assisting with legal reviews related to corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters.
  • Monitoring and interpreting changes in UAE laws and insurance regulations, and summarizing their impact on business operations.
  • Supporting the Compliance/AML team through the maintenance of AML/KYC documentation and coordination of required regulatory submissions.
  • Helping in the preparation of internal policies, reports, and procedures under the supervision of the Head of Compliance & AML.

Key skills for success in this role include strong abilities in contract law, legal document management, and a foundational understanding of compliance and AML/KYC practices. Working fluency in both Arabic and English is essential. This role involves handling sensitive legal matters with integrity and discretion, and offers a dynamic environment to further develop skills in legal research, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and due diligence.

The ideal person will demonstrate a strong academic background in legal studies, particularly with a focus on UAE commercial and insurance laws.

Third-Party Risk Manager – NIS2 Compliance

Position Overview: The Third-Party Risk Manager is responsible for overseeing and mitigating information security risks related to external suppliers, service providers, and business partners.
