Mechanical engineer / Werktuigbouwkundige

Do you want to be the technical heart and brain of our company and are you looking for dynamic international projects? Then you are the Mechanical Engineer we are looking for! As a Mechanical Engineer you will do 3D modelling, analyses using FEM and report lifting structures and solutions. You are the technical heart and brain of the project team. You work closely together with the Project engineer and the Structural/Design Engineer to find the best solution on challenging projects.

Conbit specializes in lifting and handling in the offshore industry. We offer engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and maintenance services, especially when special lifting is the main challenge. We work in a broad range of industries, with projects worldwide.

• Mechanical Engineer in an international project environment

• €2.900,00 – €4.000,00 gross monthly salary (depending on experience)

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Design solutions for challenging (lifting) jobs all over the world.

• Design 3D models and 2D layouts of lifting solutions and structures.

• Create, evaluate and adjust a design.

• Create design and analysis reports.

• Create calculation and FEM models.

• Ensure that the design or operation is safe, feasible and economic.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Bachelor’s degree in either structural or mechanical engineering.

• Excellent oral and written English skills.

• 3D modelling and 2D layout skills.

• Knowledge of tolerances, fabrication and constructability.

• Designing skills.

• Calculation and FEM- Analysis (Scia engineer).

• Analytical, solution oriented, responsible and a team player
