Senior Business Development Manager Project Cargo & Heavy Industry

In deze strategische rol krijgt u de kans om een nieuwe business unit voor project cargo en zware industrie op te bouwen voor een internationale topspeler.


  • Marktontwikkeling & positionering: Analyseren van de Belgische markt binnen segmenten als project cargo, zware industrie, energie, infrastructuur en machinebouw. Op basis hiervan ontwikkelt u een gerichte strategie om deze business unit te positioneren als betrouwbare, gespecialiseerde logistieke partner.
  • Netwerkopbouw: Actief uitbouwen van langetermijnrelaties met relevante spelers, waaronder technische aankopers, projectleiders, supply chain managers en transportverantwoordelijken binnen logistieke en industriële bedrijven
  • Strategisch relatiebeheer: Onderhouden van relaties op basis van vertrouwen en inhoud, met diepgaande gesprekken, technische inzichten en klantgericht advies. U fungeert als sparringpartner voor uw klanten.
  • Commerciële trajecten begeleiden: Opvolgen van projecten van offerte tot uitvoering. Nauw samenwerken met operationele collega’s voor het uitwerken van offertes en het managen van projectflows.
  • Samenwerking & rapportering: Afstemmen met het internationale netwerk en rechtstreeks rapporteren aan het management. Delen van marktinzichten en het geven van input om het dienstenaanbod aan te laten sluiten op de Belgische markt.

De functie vraagt om ervaring in marktanalyses, business developmentstrategieën, het ontwerpen van logistieke netwerken, contractonderhandeling en freight forwarding, aangevuld met kennis van internationale transportoplossingen via zee, lucht of multimodaal. Vloeiend Nederlands en Engels zijn vereist. Frans is een plus.
