We are partnering with a well-established government-backed organisation based in Dubai to appoint an Assistant FP&A Manager.

Operating across large-scale infrastructure and logistics projects, the company combines the stability of a government-owned entity with the pace and commercial mindset of a private-sector business.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible individual contributor position.

The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and will play a key part in transforming large volumes of financial and operational data into meaningful business insights, supporting strategic decision-making through advanced analytics, business intelligence, and financial planning.


Responsibilities include:

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and monthly variance analysis to support business performance and strategic decision-making
  • Develop executive dashboards and management reports combining financial and operational KPIs
  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, cost drivers, and commercial opportunities
  • Design and automate reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, and advanced Excel
  • Partner closely with finance and project teams to ensure consistency between management reporting and accounting data
  • Contribute to finance transformation initiatives by improving reporting processes, automation, and business intelligence capabilities


Profile:

  • 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, management reporting
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA is highly preferred
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX (mandatory)
  • Strong experience managing and analysing large datasets and developing interactive dashboards
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Previous experience within a large corporate or multinational organisation is preferred
  • A previous Big 4 background is an advantage
