Senior IT Support / IT Administrator
Senior IT Support / IT Administrator based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE, is responsible for overseeing the IT environment and daily support operations across the organization. The role involves direct management of core infrastructure and cloud solutions, along with end-user technical issue resolution.
- Provide advanced IT support for complex technical incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy to manage and secure company resources effectively.
- Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices used by internal staff.
- Manage network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches, ensuring robust connectivity and performance.
- Oversee data backup routines, disaster recovery processes, and maintain precise documentation for all systems.
- Manage and configure cloud services such as Microsoft 365 and Azure, supporting hybrid IT environments.
- Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewall and antivirus policies, as well as user access controls.
- Lead IT projects and system upgrades, ensuring project milestones and schedules are met.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless IT service delivery and issue resolution.
This role requires proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, firewall management, Azure functions, project coordination (including Trello), and strong troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in English is mandatory, with Italian language skills highly valued for international communication. Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, and PowerShell scripting is an added advantage. Preferred certifications include CompTIA A+, Network+, Azure Admin, and MCSA/MCSE.

- Experienced and Knowledgeable: Bring a solid background of at least five years in IT support and infrastructure roles, with hands-on familiarity across both traditional and modern IT systems. You have managed complex environments and own a track record of success in both troubleshooting and optimizing Microsoft and cloud technologies.
- Technically Proficient: Adept at administering Windows Server, Active Directory, and managing advanced networking, including firewalls. You are comfortable operating in Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms, and able to effectively leverage tools such as PowerShell for automation. Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, and scripting is highly valued.
- Security-Focused: Naturally vigilant about information security, you consistently enforce best-practice security standards and contribute to the protection of organizational assets. Your background may include relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Azure Admin, MCSA/MCSE).
- Organized Project Leader: Known for your ability to coordinate IT initiatives and upgrades, you plan and schedule proactively, collaborating well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with project management tools, such as Trello, is a plus.
- Communicative and Multicultural: An articulate communicator in English, you can explain complex concepts clearly to users and leadership alike. Italian language proficiency is highly desirable for effective international coordination.
