Finance Manager – Transformation | Abu Dhabi
A leading international organization based in Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to oversee the finance operations of a strategic business unit while leading transformation initiatives across the wider organization.

This newly created role offers a unique blend of operational finance and finance transformation.
While overseeing the day-to-day finance operations, you will also play a key role in driving digitalisation, automation, AI adoption and process improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end finance operations of the business unit, ensuring robust financial controls and accurate financial reporting.
- Lead, coach and develop a small team of finance professionals.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives across the wider organization, including digitalisation, automation, AI and process optimisation projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, increase efficiency and enhance operational performance.
- Lead cross-functional projects, engaging stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Act as a trusted business partner to operational and commercial stakeholders, providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making.
- Review commercial transactions and assess their financial implications while maintaining strong accounting governance.
- Support continuous improvement of finance processes, systems and reporting capabilities.
Profile:
- Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA) is mandatory.
- Big 4 background, followed by industry experience is required.
- Proven experience combining finance operations with finance transformation, process improvement or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong technical accounting expertise combined with commercial acumen, business partnering and analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading finance projects involving automation, digitalisation, AI or operational excellence.
- Ability to think strategically, challenge existing processes and deliver end-to-end transformation initiatives.
- Experience within engineering, industrial services, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure or other technically complex industries.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
