Account Manager - Flemish region + Netherlands

Reporting to: Sales Manager EMEA
Location: Leuven, BE – hybrid/remote options
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, permanent contract
The main objective of this role is to develop and expand the Belgian (Dutch) and Netherlands markets, focusing on both new business acquisition and fostering strong relationships with existing clients to drive certificate usage growth and retention. The position involves occasional travel (approximately 10%) and offers flexible working arrangements, provided you reside permanently in Belgium.
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities through the Enterprise Sales division, focusing on organizations with significant digital certificate requirements.
- Develop and execute territory-specific strategies to drive and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct daily prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and utilizing social media to connect with decision-makers within target accounts.
- Perform initial outreach and consultations to assess and understand the business needs of prospective customers.
- Maintain and develop long-term relationships with the existing customer base, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and upselling opportunities for additional certificate services.
- Document activities and provide regular sales reporting to the Sales Manager EMEA as required.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to optimize solutions for customer requirements and stay informed about the digital certificate market landscape.
Essential skills:
- Fluency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in cold calling and business development strategy within a B2B environment.
- Experience in territory management, lead generation, and client relationship/account management considered beneficial.
This position does not have direct people management duties and is subject to background checks due to the trusted nature of the business.

- Commercially Savvy: Demonstrates a strong understanding of business development strategies, eager to uncover new opportunities and adapt quickly to changing market needs in the Belgian (Dutch-speaking) and Dutch markets.
- Persistent & Resilient: Handles rejection and setbacks constructively, showing determination during cold outreach and when following up on leads. Maintains motivation and enthusiasm over the long-term sales cycle.
- Relationship-Oriented: Values customer relationships as a foundation for success, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate to ensure clients' needs are met and exceeded.
- Organized & Self-Driven: Manages their own workload effectively, setting clear objectives to achieve individual goals and contributing to broader team targets. Comfortable working independently with support from their manager.
- Adaptable & Open-Minded: Embraces a hybrid and flexible work environment, readily navigating between remote and office-based interaction, and adjusting quickly to new tools, processes, or customer situations.
