Electrical Engineer – Control Systems & Instrumentation
As an Electrical Engineer within our innovative, technology-driven team, you will be responsible for the design and integration of electrical systems, primarily focused on control cabinets and instrumentation. The position involves utilizing your expertise with EPLAN to develop schematic diagrams and ensure high-quality, efficient layouts. You will select appropriate electrical and electronic components, ensuring compliance with technical and safety requirements, and contribute to the overall reliability and functionality of the company’s bespoke machines and systems.
- Design and document control cabinets, including the specification and selection of electrical components for industrial applications.
- Develop and maintain precise wiring diagrams and layouts using EPLAN software.
- Ensure technical documentation meets project standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver project milestones on deadline.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of process control and instrumentation solutions for advanced manufacturing equipment.
- Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, and optimization during assembly and commissioning phases.
- Manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and provide structured project-based input from concept through completion.
- Regularly utilize English and Dutch for technical documentation and team communications.
The scope of this position provides daily exposure to cutting-edge optical coating technologies, contributing to projects that impact widely used, high-tech products. The role requires close interaction with project managers, production staff, and fellow engineers, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction throughout all project phases.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a high-tech, dynamic environment and bring a strong foundation in electromechanics or electrical engineering, supported by a bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent experience). Your affinity for electricity and passion for technology will set you apart, especially if you have a keen interest in innovative machine building and advanced manufacturing.

- Effective Communicator: Fluent in English and comfortable in Dutch—both written and spoken—you are able to articulate technical information clearly within an international team and with diverse stakeholders.
