Als Cost Control Executive binnen de maritieme logistiek lever je een directe bijdrage aan de financiële beheersing van internationale transportstromen. In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het monitoren, analyseren en optimaliseren van operationele kosten verbonden aan zowel inkomende als uitgaande scheepsbewegingen.

  • Analyseren en berekenen van voorlopige reiskosten op basis van scheepsgegevens, rekening houdend met strikte deadlines.
  • Bijhouden en actualiseren van een interne en handmatige database met kostengegevens.
  • Zorgdragen voor correcte eindafrekeningen van operationele kosten en tijdige registratie van leveranciersfacturen in een ERP-systeem zoals SAP.
  • Kostengerelateerde administratieve taken, zoals het verwerken van uitgaven rondom bemanning en accurate vastlegging daarvan.
  • Signaleren van afwijkingen en trends binnen de kostenstromen en het doen van onderbouwde voorstellen ter optimalisatie van processen.
  • Nauwe samenwerking met collega’s uit finance, operations en met externe partners.
  • Rapporteren aan het hoofd van de Cost Control afdeling om financiële processen te stroomlijnen en het operationele rendement te verhogen.

De functie vereist een goed begrip van cost controlling, financiële analyse, budgettering en uitgebreide vaardigheden in Excel. Affiniteit met logistieke processen en ervaring met ERP-systemen vormen een waardevolle aanvulling. De voertalen zijn Nederlands en Engels, waarmee de administratieve en rapportagetaken consequent en nauwkeurig worden uitgevoerd.

  • Gevoel voor structuur en nauwkeurigheid: Nauwgezet werken is jouw tweede natuur. Je vindt het belangrijk om gegevens correct en tijdig te verwerken.
  • Zelfstandig én teamgericht: Je werkt vlot zelfstandig, bewaart het overzicht ook bij drukte en schakelt moeiteloos tussen verschillende interne en externe contacten.
  • Communicatief vaardig: Je slaat bruggen tussen finance, operations en partners. Je communiceert helder en professioneel in zowel Nederlands als Engels.
  • Innovatief en resultaatgericht: Je neemt het initiatief om financiële processen te verbeteren en houdt altijd het eindresultaat voor ogen.
  • Technisch onderlegd: Je voelt je vertrouwd met Excel en rapporteringstools. Ervaring met ERP-systemen zoals SAP is een mooie bonus.
  • Opleiding en achtergrond: Je beschikt over een bachelor in een financiële of economische richting of kunt rekenen op een relevante ervaring in controlling of cost control, bij voorkeur in een logistieke of maritieme context.
  • Affiniteit met cijfers en logistiek: Je combineert een liefde voor cijfers met interesse in logistieke processen, specifiek in de wereld van scheepvaart en transport.
