Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving company applications, systems, and IT infrastructure. The Systems & Applications Support Specialist works closely with management and end-users to ensure all systems remain secure, reliable, and fully aligned with business objectives. Day-to-day activities include system configuration, software deployments, performance monitoring, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and providing comprehensive user support. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted technical expert, balancing reactive support with proactive system improvements and strategic infrastructure enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert for systems, applications, and cybersecurity matters
  • Support and improve business applications and IT systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Gather business requirements and support system implementation and upgrades
  • Manage system changes, upgrades, and software deployments with minimal disruption
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain uptime and reliability
  • Provide user training and technical support to ensure effective system adoption
  • Ensure software licensing compliance across all deployed applications
  • Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security procedures to protect company data
  • Coordinate with vendors and external service providers to resolve technical challenges
  • Provide general IT support and maintenance across the organization

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical foundation in IT systems and software support who combine deep expertise with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of hands-on experience in software development and/or systems support, holds a relevant bachelor's degree, and demonstrates proficiency with enterprise platforms such as Odoo, Oracle ERP, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint. Beyond technical credentials, we seek someone who is naturally organized, detail-oriented, and thrives when managing multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure. This person should be fluent in both English and Arabic, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.

Experience & Expertise Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development and/or systems support
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo, Oracle ERP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and project management tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and systems support capabilities across diverse technical environments
  • Experience in telecom or infrastructure-related industries is highly preferred
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic for cross-functional communication
