Als Teamleider Douane ben je verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen en coördineren van het douaneteam. Je draagt zorg voor de optimalisatie van alle douaneactiviteiten, waaronder complexe import-, export- en transitaangiften. Je begeleidt het team bij speciale regelingen zoals wederinvoer, tijdelijke invoer en fiscale vertegenwoordiging en ziet erop toe dat het team zelfstandig aangiften van A tot Z beheert.

  • Leidinggeven aan een team van vijf professionals en fungeren als primair aanspreekpunt voor operationele en inhoudelijke douanevraagstukken.
  • Coördinatie en controle op alle douaneaangiften voor import, export en transit, waarborgen van compliance en documentatie volgens geldende wet- en regelgeving (UCC/DWU).
  • Begeleiden van het team bij het afhandelen van speciale douaneregelingen en het onderhouden van contact met klanten en douaneautoriteiten.
  • Initiëren en implementeren van procesverbeteringen en automatiseringstrajecten binnen de douaneafdeling.
  • Toezien op kwaliteitsbewaking en opvolging van outsourcingprojecten binnen het douanedomein.
  • Zorgdragen voor naleving van AEO-conforme processen en structureel bijdragen aan het kennisniveau van het team en de organisatie.
  • Rapporteren aan het management over voortgang, resultaten en verbeterpunten betreffende de douaneafdeling.

Je opereert binnen een internationale context en bent dagelijks bezig met compliance, documentatie en optimalisatie van douaneprocessen. Daarnaast draag je verantwoordelijkheid voor operationeel klantcontact en de continue verbetering van het team en de processen.

Description du profil

Wij zoeken kandidaten die met hun natuurlijke leiderschap, gedegen douane-ervaring en coachende stijl het verschil maken in een teamomgeving. De ideale persoon in deze rol is een energieke en inspirerende professional die in staat is om anderen te motiveren, te ontwikkelen en te begeleiden bij complexe douanegerelateerde vraagstukken.

  • Zeer ervaren in douaneaangelegenheden: Beschikt over minimaal 5 tot 7 jaar relevante werkervaring, waarvan enkele jaren in een coördinerende of leidinggevende positie. Heeft een diepgaand begrip van (inter)nationale douanewetgeving, complexe douaneregelingen en AEO-procedures.
  • Uitstekende compliance focus: Is sterk in het waarborgen van naleving, volgt ontwikkelingen in wet- en regelgeving nauwgezet en heeft bewezen ervaring met douane-entrepots/RTO’s, import/exportdocumentatie en de controle van processen en dossiers.
  • Coachende leider: Heeft de capaciteit om een team niet alleen aan te sturen, maar ook op te leiden, te begeleiden en te enthousiasmeren tot optimale prestaties. Weet kennis over te dragen, stimuleert continue verbetering en staat open voor nieuwe initiatieven vanuit het team.
  • Analytisch en oplossingsgericht: Signaleert snel knelpunten en risico’s binnen processen en vertaalt deze naar concrete verbeteringen, waaronder automatiseringsmogelijkheden. Toont eigenaarschap en pakt uitdagingen proactief en resultaatgericht aan.
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden: Kan helder communiceren op alle niveaus, zowel binnen het team als met stakeholders, klanten en autoriteiten. Is in staat om operationeel contact te onderhouden en rapporteert helder aan het management.
  • Stakeholder- en projectmanagement: Is sterk in het onderhouden van professionele relaties, zowel intern als extern. Heeft ervaring met het begeleiden van outsourcingprojecten en het implementeren van procesverbeteringen.
  • Talenkennis: Beschikt over uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal, en kan zich vlot en professioneel uitdrukken in het Engels.
