IT Project Manager - Software
One of our clients based in brussels is looking for an IT Project Manager who has experience in software development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Effectively lead project teams through all phases of the project life cycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project deliverables and milestones.
2. Development Expertise:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of project goals and requirements.
3. Resource Management:
- Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to ensure project success.
- Work closely with team leads to identify and address any resource constraints or bottlenecks.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery.
4. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address challenges and obstacles that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
- Implement risk management best practices to minimize project disruptions.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure transparency and open communication channels throughout the project.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as an IT Project Manager with a focus on development projects.
2. In-depth knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and tools.
3. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
4. Speaks Dutch and English.
5. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is desirable.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
7. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
