Voor een internationale marktleider gevestigd in Antwerpen zoek ik een ambitieuze Senior Accountant A-Z met sterke analytische vaardigheden.


Functieomschrijving: Senior Accounting A-Z

  • Verantwoordelijk voor de volledige boekhoudkundige cyclus, inclusief maand- en jaarafsluitingen.
  • Beheren van de boekhouding, waaronder crediteuren- en debiteurenbeheer, bankboekingen en grootboekadministratie.
  • Opstellen van financiële rapportages en analyses voor interne en externe stakeholders.Zorgen voor naleving van boekhoudkundige en fiscale wet- en regelgeving.
  • Coördineren en aansturen van het boekhoudteam, inclusief coaching en begeleiding van junior accountants.
  • Actief bijdragen aan de optimalisatie van financiële processen en systemen.
  • Samenwerken met andere afdelingen zoals controlling, finance en IT om de financiële strategie en doelstellingen te realiseren.
Description du profil

Kwalificaties

  • Minimaal een bachelor in Accounting, Finance of een vergelijkbaar vakgebied.
  • Minstens 5 jaar relevante werkervaring als accountant, bij voorkeur in een internationale omgeving.
  • Diepgaande kennis van boekhoudkundige en fiscale wet- en regelgeving.
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in zowel Nederlands als Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Sterke analytische vaardigheden en oog voor detail.
  • Proactieve houding met een focus op resultaat en kwaliteit.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The CFO plays a pivotal role in steering a company’s financial strategy and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and accounting frameworks. Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the company’s financial practices remain consistently aligned.Financial Strategy and Analysis: Develop and implement forward-looking financial strategies to support sustainable business growth. Apply financial modeling and scenario planning, particularly within the IFRS 17 framework (PAA and GMM), to guide decision-making and performance evaluation.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary financial counterpart to the board, investment committee, and other governance bodies. Deliver financial insights and strategic recommendations that support high-quality executive and board-level decision-making.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the company’s financial operations adhere to regulatory, accounting, and internal control requirements. Develop and maintain risk mitigation strategies to protect financial stability and corporate assets.Investment Accounting: Oversee the treatment and presentation of investment portfolios in line with accounting standards such as IFRS 9. As Head of Accounting, you will oversee the company’s full accounting operations, managing a team of eight professionals.
