Business Controller
For one of my client, I am currently looking for a Business Controller. My partner is a leading player in the energy sector.
As a Business Controller in the energy sector, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the company. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure financial strategies align with business objectives in the dynamic and evolving energy market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts related to the energy sector's market trends and performance indicators.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making for new energy projects, investments, and business initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Participate in the development of financial strategies and long-term planning for the energy sector.

Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in financial analysis, planning, and control within the energy sector or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of energy markets, regulations, and industry-specific financial metrics.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
