- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal customers, service providers, and APS production support teams. Facilitate communication and alignment between IT divisions across Belgium and France.
- Technical Responsibilities: Build, maintain, and monitor environments, focusing on JVM performance, Red Hat Linux administration, Java-based applications, and secure deployments using TLS/SSL.
- Methodology: Contribute to Agile/Scrum teams; utilize modern CI/CD practices and ITIL processes to ensure high standards of availability, security, and disaster recovery.

- Deep proficiency in Java, Apache Tomcat, Red Hat Linux administration, and networking technology.
- Experience with shell scripting, preferably Bash, as well as infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible Tower is advantageous.

Professional fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French is recommended, and Dutch is a plus.
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a passion for enterprise technology and thrive as subject matter experts in complex, large-scale infrastructures. The ideal person naturally combines both deep technical expertise and a service-oriented mindset, confidently guiding teams through the management of legacy systems and ambitious migrations towards modern cloud solutions.
- Expertise & Technical Mastery: We value seasoned professionals with an established track record in managing IBM WebSphere Network Deployment and Liberty environments, especially individuals experienced in leading lifecycle transitions from on-premise to private cloud solutions. A robust background working with Java-based applications, Apache Tomcat, TLS/SSL, and extensive Red Hat Linux administration is essential. Familiarity with related tools such as Terraform, Ansible Tower, and CaaS is highly appreciated.
- Transversal Collaborators: The right candidate enjoys working cross-functionally, thriving in agile, multinational environments, and building bridges between multiple stakeholders. This includes seamless collaboration with international teams, architects, service providers, and vendor partners to shape and deliver a future-proof platform vision.
- Leadership & Vision: We seek someone inspiring—capable of mentoring and guiding technology engineers while actively contributing to a roadmap aligned with strategic group objectives. The ideal candidate leads by example, championing reliability, security, and best practices (Agile/Scrum, ITIL, continuous deployment, disaster recovery) while nurturing a strong team spirit.
- Service Mindset & Commitment: We appreciate individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and an unrelenting commitment to supporting internal customers and production operations. A willingness to participate in occasional travel and flexible work hours underscores a dedication to service excellence.
