Als Junior Financial Controller ondersteun je de financiële sturing van de organisatie en werk je rechtstreeks onder de Finance Manager. Je bent mede verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van maand- en kwartaalrapportages, het monitoren van budgetten en het analyseren van afwijkingen. Op basis van deze analyses stel je gerichte correctieve acties voor. Je draagt bij aan het optimaliseren van interne controllingprocessen en biedt ondersteuning bij algemene boekhoudkundige taken wanneer nodig.

  • Assisteren bij de voorbereiding van financiële rapportages voor managementinformatie.
  • Toezicht houden op budgetten, afwijkingen controleren en meedenken over verbetervoorstellen.
  • Actief bijdragen aan het verbeteren van interne control-procedures voor een efficiënte bedrijfsvoering.
  • Ondersteunen bij algemene boekhoudkundige taken in samenspraak met het accountingteam.
  • Intensief samenwerken met diverse afdelingen, zoals accounting en operations, om financiële processen soepel te laten verlopen.

Je gebruikt dagelijks Microsoft Excel voor analyses en rapportages. Affiniteit met fund accounting en financial controlling is belangrijk, evenals strategisch denken en interesse in het werken met ERP-systemen. De werkomgeving is internationaal en vereist dat je vlot communiceert in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels.

  • Trilingual: Je communiceert vlot in Nederlands, Frans en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Opleiding en achtergrond: Je beschikt over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in financiën, accounting, economie of een aanverwant domein. Een eerste werkervaring (stage of eerste baan) met controlling of algemene boekhouding is vereist.
  • Technische skills: Je hebt een uitstekende beheersing van Excel en bent vertrouwd met fund accounting en financial controlling. Ervaring met ERP-systemen, zoals SAP, is een pluspunt.
  • Strategisch denkvermogen: Je denkt proactief mee over verbeteringen aan processen en past je inzichten toe om de financiële besturing van de organisatie te versterken.
