Functieomschrijving

Als Accountant ben je de spil in de financiële operaties van vastgoedondernemingen in België en Nederland.


- Het beheren en bijwerken van de grootboekadministratie

- Het controleren en afstemmen van balansposten en tussenrekeningen

- Het opstellen van financiële rapportages en analyses

- Het uitvoeren van liquiditeits- en cashflowbeheer

- Het assisteren bij budgettering en forecasting processen

- Het verzorgen van financiële documentatie en archivering volgens de geldende regelgeving

- Het onderhouden van contacten met externe stakeholders zoals banken, belastingdienst en accountantskantoren

- Het adviseren van het management op financieel gebied en het signaleren van kansen voor procesverbetering

Wie zoeken zij?


- Een Bachelor diploma in een financiële richting of een vergelijkbare expertise door ervaring

- Ervaring binnen een fiduciaire of boekhoudkantoor wordt als een sterke meerwaarde gezien

- Een leergierige en communicatieve instelling

- Zowel een teamspeler als in staat om zelfstandig te werken

- Analytisch sterk en nauwkeurig met oog voor detail

- Een sterk gevoel voor verantwoordelijkheid en hands-on mentaliteit

- Flexibel, stressbestendig en in staat om je snel aan te passen aan een dynamische omgeving

- Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal; kennis van Engels en Frans is een bijkomende troef

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The CFO plays a pivotal role in steering a company’s financial strategy and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and accounting frameworks. As the most senior finance executive in the organization, the Head of Finance oversees all aspects of financial planning, reporting, control, and risk management, while serving as a key advisor to the board and investment committee.This role requires deep technical knowledge of IFRS standards – particularly IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 – as well as practical expertise in applying the Premium Allocation Approach (PAA) and the General Measurement Model (GMM) within the insurance sector. While an actuarial background is advantageous, the position fundamentally combines hands-on leadership with strategic financial management.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management: Lead the entire finance function, ensuring high standards of financial governance, accountability, and performance. Set direction for the finance team, drive execution, and act as the financial steward of the organization at the executive level.Regulatory Reporting: Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports in compliance with applicable national regulations and standards. Monitor regulatory developments and ensure the company’s financial practices remain consistently aligned.Financial Strategy and Analysis: Develop and implement forward-looking financial strategies to support sustainable business growth. Apply financial modeling and scenario planning, particularly within the IFRS 17 framework (PAA and GMM), to guide decision-making and performance evaluation.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary financial counterpart to the board, investment committee, and other governance bodies. Deliver financial insights and strategic recommendations that support high-quality executive and board-level decision-making.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the company’s financial operations adhere to regulatory, accounting, and internal control requirements. Develop and maintain risk mitigation strategies to protect financial stability and corporate assets.Investment Accounting: Oversee the treatment and presentation of investment portfolios in line with accounting standards such as IFRS 9. Ensure appropriate valuation, classification, and reporting of financial instruments.Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the development of comprehensive financial models and planning tools to simulate business scenarios, assess capital needs, and support executive decisions. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial KPIs, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow analysis.

Senior Financial Crime Risk Manager

Senior Financial Crime Risk Manager oversees the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks related to financial crime within the organization. Head of Accounting

As Head of Accounting, you will oversee the company’s full accounting operations, managing a team of eight professionals. Your primary focus will be on fund accounting , ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial recording and reporting.
