We are partnering with a well-established international group operating in the Distribution & Services industry to appoint a Trade Finance specialist within its Dubai HQ.
With an international footprint, the organisation offers exposure to complex cross-border transactions and a dynamic, multi-country business environment.

Reporting directly to the Treasury Manager, this position will take ownership of the Group's LCs, bank guarantees, and other trade finance instruments. The role combines hands-on trade finance execution, banking relationships, and close coordination with regional finance, commercial, and logistics teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end processing of import and export Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, and other trade finance instruments.
• Review LC terms and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with UCP 600, ISBP guidelines, and international trade regulations.
• Liaise with banks on LC issuance, amendments, negotiations, settlements, and guarantee administration.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure alignment between LC terms, commercial agreements, and shipping documentation.
• Identify and resolve documentary discrepancies to minimise transaction delays and financial exposure.
• Monitor trade finance facilities, banking limits, commissions, and associated costs.
• Coordinate LC maturities and payment schedules with Treasury to support cash flow forecasting.
• Maintain accurate trade finance reporting and contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.

Profile:

• 5–10 years of experience in Trade Finance, particularly LCs and bank guarantees, ideally within banking, trading, distribution, or multinational corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP guidelines, Incoterms, and international trade finance practices.
• Proven experience managing LC documentation, banking relationships, and trade finance transactions end-to-end.
• Candidates must already be based in the UAE or wider GCC. International relocations will not be considered for this position.
