Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in monthly financial closings in compliance with IFRS and Local GAAP (Belgium, France, Luxembourg).
  • Conduct monthly results analysis to identify significant variances and trends.
  • Serve as the contact point for audit requests and tax administration queries.
  • Contribute to the preparation of tax, legal and VAT reporting obligations.
  • Monitor fiscal, accounting and VAT updates to detect changes or new opportunities.
  • Collaborate on departmental projects such as business process improvement.
  • Support operational units by proposing and developing appropriate financial solutions.


Skills and Tools Used:

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports.
  • Financial analysis with a focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Audit planning and effective management of audit processes.
  • Preparation and oversight of tax reporting and VAT compliance.
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in other MS Office tools.


Languages Required:

  • French (fluent written and spoken)
  • English (strong written and spoken)

We are looking for candidates who possess a strong academic background, ideally holding a Master's degree in management, finance, or commercial engineering. The ideal person demonstrates a keen interest in accounting, taxation, and VAT matters, and has gained initial experience in a similar role, financial controlling, or audit—either in-house or through consultancy.
