Job Description
The Data Analyst / Data Scientist plays a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and business growth. This position involves end-to-end data management—from collection and preprocessing through advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling. The successful candidate will design and maintain robust data systems, develop machine learning solutions, and create compelling visualizations that communicate complex findings to stakeholders across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying data sources, cleaning and structuring datasets, performing exploratory analysis to uncover trends and patterns, building predictive models, and collaborating with business and IT teams to implement data-driven recommendations that improve operational efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and collect relevant data from various sources
- Clean, preprocess, and manage structured and unstructured data
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms
- Create dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Support business teams with data-driven recommendations
- Maintain databases and data systems
- Collaborate with IT and business teams on data initiatives
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with a strong analytical mindset, proven expertise in data science and analytics, and a passion for uncovering insights from complex datasets. The ideal candidate combines technical depth in programming and statistical methods with the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You should demonstrate a systematic approach to problem-solving, attention to detail in data quality, and the initiative to stay current with evolving tools and methodologies in the data science field.
Experience & Expertise Required:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics or Data Science
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory
- Demonstrated knowledge of business intelligence platforms including Power BI and Tableau
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and machine learning principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Fluent English communication; Arabic language skills are an advantage
