Financial Analyst
For one of our partners based in the center of Brussels we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join a great team leading the banking sector.
As a Financial Analyst, you will be an integral part of our finance team, consisting of 5 team members plus yourself, all reporting to the CFO. You will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support business planning and strategy.
- Assist in budgeting processes and variance analysis.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate on projects to improve financial processes and systems.
- Analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Utilize Excel for complex data analysis and reporting.
- Support the Business Controller in various reporting and project-related tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 to 6 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related fields.
- Experience in audit, Big Four, or business control is a plus but not mandatory.
- Background in accounting with a first experience in IT (general, fiscality) is preferred.
- Experience in controlling and working on projects is beneficial.
- Strong proficiency in Excel is mandatory.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn about banking and credit environments.

- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
- Motivation to learn and grow within the role and the company.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
