Position Summary:
This role provides technical understanding and expertise in Business Intelligence and Data Engineering within ICT Data & Analytics. The individual collaborates with teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery and optimal use of analytics platforms, notably Dataiku, without engaging in technical implementation. The focus is on conceptual design, process optimization, and supporting the effective translation of business needs into technical solutions.

Main Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Business Intelligence (Main Function):
    • Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable insights, ensuring feasibility from both technical and analytical perspectives.
    • Advise on conceptual data flows, source integrations, and visualization architecture.
    • Facilitate communication between business teams and technical implementers, clearly articulating processes and constraints.
    • Guide the effective adoption and utilisation of Dataiku for workflow automation, data blending, and analytical model operationalization.
    • Support the creation and optimization of data reporting structures with a focus on platform scalability and data governance.
  • Data Engineering (Supporting Function):
    • Collaborate in defining data models and pipelines, ensuring alignment with best practices in data structuring, quality, and security.
    • Review and provide input on ETL/ELT processes, focusing on architectural effectiveness rather than hands-on development.
    • Advise on data storage strategies and integrations, leveraging strong knowledge of SQL Server and scripting principles.

Skills & Technologies:

  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Dataiku for data analytics and orchestration.
  • Strong technical understanding of Python Scripting and SQL Server in data analytics environments.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and Azure DevOps for reporting, pipeline management, and process visualization (as secondary tools).

Languages Required:

  • English – Full professional proficiency for effective internal/external collaboration, presentations, and documentation.
  • French and Dutch – Working proficiency to facilitate communication with multilingual teams and stakeholders.

Scope & Objectives:
This position bridges business objectives and technical frameworks, ensuring that analytics solutions are optimally designed with best-in-class tools and platforms, particularly Dataiku. Operational responsibilities include process alignment, architecture consulting, and ensuring quality and scalability of reporting landscapes, always in close partnership with technical implementers and business users.
