IT Infrastructure Manager
Job Description
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data centers, telecommunications, and security systems. This role ensures infrastructure stability, security, scalability, and alignment with business needs. The successful candidate will oversee critical systems that support organizational operations, manage a dedicated support team, and drive continuous improvement across the technology landscape. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring system performance, implementing infrastructure enhancements, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. This position requires both strategic planning capabilities and hands-on technical expertise to deliver reliable, secure, and future-ready infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage network, servers, data centers, and telecommunications infrastructure
- Oversee firewalls, antivirus systems, intrusion detection, and security controls
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
- Monitor system and network performance and implement improvements
- Develop and enforce IT infrastructure policies and procedures
- Plan infrastructure capacity and evaluate future technology needs
- Evaluate and recommend infrastructure solutions and vendors
- Manage hardware and software upgrades and infrastructure projects
- Support application deployment in collaboration with internal teams
- Lead the IT infrastructure support team and ensure service availability
- Ensure compliance with data protection and local regulations
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who bring a combination of deep technical expertise, proven leadership experience, and a commitment to operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT infrastructure management, demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving complex infrastructure challenges. We seek professionals who understand the strategic importance of reliable infrastructure, can communicate effectively across technical and business stakeholders, and are driven to maintain the highest standards of security and availability.
Experience & Expertise Required:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network, and systems management
- 2+ years of experience in team leadership or management
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Veeam, storage systems, virtualization, and firewalls
- Experience with LAN/WAN, VPN, WLAN, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM practices
- Fluent English; Arabic language skills are a plus
