Junior Financial Analyst
Our client is a leading provider of consumer credit, offering a full range of credit solutions through professional partners.
Having a large stock positively impacts sales and is essential for resellers and importers. However, maintaining significant stock requires financial resources.
As a financial partner in the automotive sector, the company aims to support dealerships and, indirectly, importers. In addition to offering financing to end customers, the company also provides financial products to finance dealerships' stock.
Role Overview:
The primary responsibility is the operational management of the Stock Financing activity using the designated tool. This includes monitoring financing, payments, stock checks, daily incidents, and quarterly pricing (for approximately 150 dealerships). You will coordinate daily tasks related to stock financing, collaborating with various internal departments (sales, accounting, risk, IT) and acting as the main point of contact for operational queries. Communication with external clients (importers, resellers, and suppliers) via email and phone is also part of the role, along with providing reports to internal and external partners.
Additionally, you will assist with tool development and bug fixes, collaborating with the Shared Services Center and other teams. The role also includes backing up the Stock Finance Middle-office for credit studies, credit increases, and new credit lines, working closely with external partners and internal Risk and Compliance teams. You will track credit deadlines and coordinate analysis with the Risk department.
Desired Profile:
- Experience in finance or automotive distribution is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Proficient in French & Dutch, English is a plus
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle administrative tasks
- Commercially driven and stress-resistant
- Proactive and able to work independently
