Position: Hotel Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE
Reporting to: General Manager/Owner
Property Type: Luxurious Hotel
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service across all departments (e.g., front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, etc.).
- Monitor and improve service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff to maintain excellent service standards.
- Motivate staff to achieve performance targets and ensure a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or training as needed.
- Customer Service:
- Address and resolve guest complaints or issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Foster a guest-centric culture, ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times.
- Develop initiatives to enhance guest experience and encourage repeat business.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure profitability.
- Oversee revenue management, pricing strategies, and cost control measures.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management or owners.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and ways to improve revenue.
- Ensure the hotel is marketed effectively across all channels, both online and offline.
- Facility Management:
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the hotel to ensure facilities are in good condition.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective services.
- Ensure the hotel meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar managerial role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions quickly.
- Knowledge of hotel management software and relevant industry regulations.
