Medior Accountant
I am currently seeking a Medior Accountant for one of my clients, a leading company in the insurance sector based in Brussels. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to grow in a dynamic and challenging environment.
As a Medior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing accounting activities and preparing financial reports within a large and renowned insurance group.
Main Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting operations and monthly closings.
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and tax declarations in compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP).
- Participate in strategic and cross-functional projects such as audits, process digitalization, and internal controls.
- Collaborate closely with finance teams and stakeholders to ensure effective and compliant financial management.
Skills:
- Strong command of accounting tools and software (ERP, advanced Excel, etc.).
- High level of accuracy, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Location
Position based in Brussels, with a hybrid working policy (on-site and remote).
Profile
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a corporate or international environment. Prior experience in the insurance sector is a strong plus.
- Languages: Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Dutch is a plus.
