Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Role Overview: As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you are responsible for overseeing the entire product life cycle, from concept development to production in a global engineering environment. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring that quality, product margin, and project timelines are met at every stage.
- Lead the mechanical design process, developing innovative concepts for both new and existing products to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Drive engineering projects from initial brainstorming through prototyping, testing, verification, production tooling, and implementation, maintaining detailed technical documentation throughout.
- Apply multidisciplinary knowledge including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, electrics, FEA, and process engineering to tackle complex challenges.
- Coordinate QA/QC activities to ensure product compliance with quality standards while tracking and improving production processes.
- Engage in technical problem-solving, rapid prototyping, and modeling, actively participating in team brainstorms and idea-generating sessions.
- Interface seamlessly with suppliers and internal/external customers around the globe to enable efficient transfer of designs through production, manage tooling, and oversee spare parts strategies.

- Highly Experienced Professionals: You hold a master’s degree in electromechanics or mechanical design and have accumulated at least a decade of mechanical design engineering experience within fast-paced machine-building environments.
- Broad Technical Knowledge: You are well-versed in a range of engineering domains, such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, electrics, finite element analysis (FEA), and related specialized fields.
- Ownership & Drive: You are highly self-motivated, take initiative with confidence, and consistently deliver on your responsibilities. You are known for making things happen and seeing challenges through to successful outcomes.
- Independent & Dynamic: You possess the discipline to work autonomously as well as the agility to adapt within multidisciplinary teams. You are comfortable interfacing directly with international stakeholders, suppliers, and customers across global projects.
- Excellent Communicators: You are fluent in English and adept at translating technical ideas clearly—whether participating in brainstorming sessions, explaining design rationale, or drafting technical documentation.
