Offshore HSE Manager
- Elaborating and implementing the HSE strategic plan for the projects or Business Units under responsibility.
- Active participation as an HSE functional member in the field, in one or more projects, or within a Business Line.
- Supporting the HSE culture by developing partnerships, communicating, facilitating and aligning HSE improvements, directly or by delegation.
- Developing HSE procedures in line with the company programme.
- Carrying out regular audits to ensure compliance with HSE plans.
- Ongoing communication with management on the implementation and effectiveness of the HSE programme.
- Supporting tender proposals and reviewing contractor deliverables.
- Managing contingency plans and testing their adequacy.
- Directing, leading, coaching and mentoring the HSE team.
- Supervision of HSE chain activities to ensure safety and compliance.
- Engineering degree in quality, engineering or another technical discipline.
- Experience in an offshore environment in the oil and gas sector preferred.
- 10 years' global experience on large-scale projects with an international dimension.
- At least 5 years' experience as a Manager supervising at least 4 HSE supervisors.
- Possession of the necessary certifications: IRCA, NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH.
