Lead Frontend Developer (TypeScript & React) – Namur
As a Lead Frontend Developer specializing in TypeScript and React, you will oversee the architectural design and implementation of modern user interfaces for web applications based in Namur. Your primary responsibility is to lead the frontend development process, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that comply with current industry standards.
- Design and develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript, driving best practices in code structure and reusability.
- Lead a team of frontend developers: distribute tasks, mentor, perform code reviews, and advocate for efficient development workflows.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX/UI designers, and project stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of business and technical goals.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI for streamlined deployments (experience with GitLab CI is a strong plus).
- Utilize Next.js where project requirements demand advanced routing or server-side rendering capabilities.
- Document technical solutions and set standards for code quality, maintainability, and testing procedures relevant to frontend engineering.
- Communicate effectively in both French and English in the context of meetings, documentation, and collaboration.
The position demands hands-on expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, supported by sound knowledge of modern development tools within an agile environment. The objective is delivering strong, maintainable front-end solutions in line with project timelines and requirements.
