Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity (Qatari Market)
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity (Qatari Market) is responsible for expanding the company’s business within Qatar, with a primary focus on the government sector. Based in Riyadh and traveling frequently to Doha, this position’s core objective is to grow the organization’s cybersecurity presence through consistent engagement with key Qatari stakeholders and enterprise clients.
- Business Development: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies tailored to the Qatari market, emphasizing government and enterprise sectors. Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with government ministries, agencies, and large organizations. Ensure all proposals address local cybersecurity regulations and compliance requirements.
- Client Engagement: Conduct regular on-site meetings with Qatari clients and stakeholders. Build and maintain strong, constructive relationships with decision-makers in government and enterprise organizations. Stay informed about market trends, cybersecurity policies, and regulations in Qatar and the wider GCC region.
- Account Management: Oversee key accounts to maximize satisfaction and retention. Translate client requirements into tailored cybersecurity solutions, facilitating smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery. Drive the expansion and development of existing client accounts within Qatar.
- Sales Operations & Administration: Maintain precise records on CRM systems, manage the sales pipeline, and support accurate revenue forecasting. Oversee invoicing, collections, and administrative processes related to Qatari clients. Coordinate RFP, RFQ, and tender submissions, particularly for government bids.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to execute effective sales strategies. Coordinate with marketing to deploy targeted campaigns and represent the company at cybersecurity and industry events within Qatar.
This role requires excellent business development, account management, and client relationship management skills in both English and Arabic. Prior experience in selling enterprise cybersecurity solutions and a solid understanding of local regulatory frameworks are essential.

- Knowledgeable in Cybersecurity Solutions: Possesses good understanding of cybersecurity products, solutions, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the Qatari market. Is capable of translating client needs into effective solutions and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Adaptable and Collaborative: Comfortable with frequent travel, managing cross-border work, and collaborating with multicultural teams. Embraces teamwork and coordinates well with internal and external stakeholders to drive client success.
- Detail-Oriented and Analytical: Displays strong organizational skills, leveraging CRM and sales tools to manage client pipelines, forecast revenue, and ensure data accuracy. Applies analytical thinking to support informed decision-making and client account growth.
- Professional Integrity and Discretion: Operates with the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion, especially when dealing with sensitive government clients and confidential information.
- Language Skills: Is highly proficient in English and demonstrates strong command of Arabic, enabling effective engagement with diverse stakeholders in Qatar.
