Financial Analyst
Gentis is a Belgian recruitment company headquartered in Brussels, providing both permanent staffing and project sourcing solutions worldwide across multiple sectors.
For our client, a company in the banking sector based in Brussels, we are looking for a Financial Analyst Consultant.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Review financial statements to extract valuable insights, and analyze the company’s profitability, solvency, and liquidity.
- Financial Reporting
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop financial forecasts and budgets, providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Cost & Profitability Analysis: Assess costs and profitability to support strategic decision-making.
- Cash Management: Oversee cash flow management and propose optimization strategies.
- Support Decision-Making
- Financial Risk Management
- Compliance & Accounting Standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Management, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to see the bigger picture and draw relevant conclusions.
- Proficiency in Excel, SAP, Oracle, or Business Intelligence (BI) tools to perform analysis, generate reports, and manage financial databases.
- Excellent communication skills to present financial results clearly and concisely to management, shareholders, and other stakeholders.
